Where do you ship to?

We now ship worldwide!

How much are shipping fees?

UK parcels have the option between Royal Mail Signed for 2nd which is £4 and aims to be delivered between 2-3 days, and Royal Mail Tracked 48 which also aims to be delivered between 2-3 days. If you decide to go with tracked shipping then your tracking number will be included in your shipping confirmation email.

International shipping is £14, although please note, orders sent to the EU that are over €22 and below €150 may be taxed at the border and incur a customs clearance or handling fee in the receiving country. Any orders that are under €22 are not subject to VAT duties until 1 July 2021.

Ceramic pieces are just going to be UK shipping at the moment, which is £7 for Hermes Standard Tracked,

What findings do you use for your earrings?

The hoops used for the clay earrings are 15mm hinged hoops and are available in either sterling silver or gold vermeil. Both options are 925 stamped on the ear stem.

The gold vermeil hoops are sterling silver underneath and are plated with 1 micron thick 24 carat gold, which ensures a more durable finish.

As a result, these findings are more expensive to supply due to the nature of the materials and this is reflected in the pricing of these items.

The hooks on the crochet earrings are either stainless steel or 24kt matte gold plated.

How should I care for my clay earrings?

To make sure that your Wonky Picnic earrings have a long lifespan we recommend that:

  • You take them out during sleep/showering/bathing and swimming, and avoid getting make-up or perfume on them

  • Be mindful that they are made out of clay and can break if they are thrown about, we recommend storing and transporting them in their Wonky Picnic boxes or pouches

  • If they need a clean, simply use a damp cloth to give them a quick wipe

  • For cleaning the gold vermeil hoops we recommend using a gentle polishing cloth, do not use a polishing agent or abrasive liquids as these can wear away the layers of gold. This is also advised with the sterling silver hoops.

How should I care for my crochet earrings/objects?

To make sure your crochet pieces have a long lifespan we recommend that:

  • You take the crochet earrings out during sleep and avoid getting them wet

  • For the hooks on the earrings we recommend using a damp cloth to give them a quick freshen up

  • If a bit of stuffing starts appearing in between stitches , simply use the end of a needle (or chopstick, essentially anything that has a small end) and push the stuffing back in.

Do you take returns?

Unfortunately we do not accept returns for hygiene reasons. If this is due to a fault on our behalf with the order, please contact us at hello@wonkypicnic.com.

How will my order be packaged?

All orders are packaged in recyclable shipping boxes and shredded recycled paper. Crochet earrings and clay earrings come in their own branded boxes (also recyclable), with artificial grass at the bottom. The artificial grass is not recyclable, however it is dead stock material from a company that was going to throw it out — and now it has a new purpose! Clay earrings also come with their own little linen pouch which has been printed with the Wonky Picnic wobbly gingham print.

All orders also come with a little note from us which has been printed on recycled paper.

Can I leave a note if I’m ordering a gift directly to a friend?

Yes! Simply leave your message in the ‘Notes’ section and we will hand-write it out for you before popping it in with the order.
